Will you have practices? Where and what time?
Yes! We plan to have weekly practices at the Norwood Waterworks Pool. We practice every day M-Th from 6-7pm ET.
How much does it cost to join?
The Grown-Up Swimming league is $75 for the entire season which includes 4 regular season meets and a final meet at the end of the season.
The cost to attend practice is only the cost of a CRC membership. This is either $6 daily or $45 for the entire season and is good for any of the 22 CRC pools around Cincinnati. See CRC's website for more information and a link to purchase a membership.
Grown-Up Swimming? What the heck is that?
A goofy league for folks 18 and over who want to have a laid-back atmosphere to race and be social.
Kinda like slow pitch softball?
Exactly, or summer league swimming for grownups.
Cookouts? Are there really cookouts?
Yep, most of the host pools will run a grill and concession stand for all of your caloric needs!
I can’t just leave my kids at home with their dad on a Saturday night…
Bring ‘em! Most meets will start off with a “multi- generation” relay, so you can even swim with them! Also, why isn’t Dad swimming too?
